True Story
A young man in Charlotte, the first in his family to go to college, applies to Davidson. He reaches out to a Davidson grad and fellow Communities In Schools alum who connects him with others at the school. Davidson ends up not working out but Tuskegee does. So the Davidson grad reaches out to another CIS alum in Seattle who went to Tuskegee.
Now the guy in Charlotte has a friend in Seattle advising him on his new school in Alabama.
That's the power of network.
